Our longtime partner Velvet Hammer Music and Management Group needed to bring a sinfully exciting look to their new goth/nu-metal/alternative music festival Sick New World Fest in Las Vegas. With artists like System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, and Incubus there, we were excited to create an amazing experience for the first year of the music festival.
We created a complete graphics package that was used across social media for ticket sales and promotion, on-stage and promo billboards around the festival grounds, and for digital marketing content like recap videos. It began with a trailer video with our group of characters set against a carnival funhouse-themed version of the Las Vegas skyline, but became so much more. The graphics package and group of characters that we created were used throughout the live festival, alongside the main stage, on video walls on the festival grounds, and on other digital and printed activations.
The strong branding of the festival created an immersive experience for the roughly 85,000 attendees. Fans were updated about upcoming start times for artists, product giveaways, general information, and more.
Being the first year of Sick New World Fest in Las Vegas, the festival organizer Velvet Hammer wanted to spread the word about nu-metal/alt music's hottest new show. Utilizing the characters and graphics package we developed for the festival, we created a sinfully exciting trailer set against a carnival funhouse-themed version of the Las Vegas skyline.
This trailer set the tone and teased the upcoming lineup release of bands like System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, and Incubus. It was formatted specifically for 9x16 mobile viewing, which helped drive over 126K likes on @systemofadown's Instagram.
Our content was used widely by the festival, such as in tease videos on social media, ticket promos, product giveaways, and recap videos. We delivered the graphics in a variety of formats so that it can be used on different platforms and marketing channels, such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
Sick New World Fest 2023 was a huge success. With over 85,000 attendees joining at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, it created the must-see event for fans of nu-metal/alt music. As mxdwn Music reviewed after attending, "Sick New World brought probably three times as much as any given day would need to bear". We're looking forward to seeing how much these bands can bring in years to come.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
